JUUN.J.Collaboration.+.Kim Kiroic Sandal/Sneaker Hybrid

One of my mucho monkees items of the moment. Kim Kiroic is one designer to certainly keep my hyena eyes peeled on, the shanghai-based designer teamed up with korean men’s fashion innovator Juun.J for the s/s 10 overlap collection. Thus creating a sandal/sneaker hybrid, which would be the ticket to wear for the autumn or heck for the Winter,this would also go well with the hybrid weather I am stuck in for the moment muggy and wet.

Kris Van Assche's spring 2010 footwear collection also includes the sneaker/sandal hybrid look, and it comes in various colours, these trophies look damn comfotable.

Mini for Many Sofie, Pernilla and Jennifer Elvestedt

In honour of Copenhagen Fashion week SS10, which started August 5TH, I was contemplating over various Scandinavian designers which incite the hyena wildness. The Swedish Label Minimarket was the uno that came to mind. Minimarket is the whole ticket, its colourful and very cartoon like and brings a unique style to the fashion globe. I use its lookbook as a style influence as the hyena currency at times does not stretch far enough to acquire one of these accoutrements. Minimarket will also be on the Runway at the Copenhagen Fashion Week SS10.

I feel acquiring leathers, are always a recherché investment, and all of my leathers are Jackets/Gloves/Hats. It seems now, leather should be welcomed as just another fabric, and not only resigned for outerwear. Designers from Alexander Wang to, Preen, Rick Owens and Balmain and dressful of others embraced leather as if it was the new sheer fabric. This just gives me another excuse to buy one more additional leather jacket and a leather skirt. Maybe I could wear my scooter helmet that I got from Barcelona with my leathers, who needs a motorbike for all out leathers.

Looking back to my trip to Barcelona, if I had to choose a Fashion brand label that defines the Catalan city Barca, it would be the label Desigual. Colourful Vibrant unique, Positive attitude, happiness and lack of inhibitions. The prints and material are impelling very Gaudi-esque. I'm adding a coat by Desigual to my chiffonier wild closet for the early autumn, but as of yet, I've not chosen which one to acquire. I think I will leave to when the weather gets abit more chillier.
