Keeping my hyena eyes peeled and locked on label Olanic as the 'one to watch'. For Autumn|Winter 2009/10, Olanic created by designer Niki Taylor, collaborated with Visual artist Kim Coleman to create an artistic presentation at Vauxhall Fashion Scout reflecting the inspiration and experimenting with mirror image.

Accessorizing the collar with large necklace pieces is a zimzala way to dress up your outfit for AW09. The statement necklace has been swirling around for the last couple of seasons, but AW09 takes it onto a whole new level with the stronger, more eye-catching versions.

I find the natural materials Lizzie has used in the above collection, appealing using a rustic, industrial style. Lizzie Fortunato, is influenced by her paternal grandmother's immaculate needlework and her maternal grandmothers flawless style and has spent her years sewing,beading, and creating the unexpected.  

Supersweet Digital Magazine

Someone else's Rice Cakes always looks tastier, and the eyes in this case do not deceive, SUPERSWEET Digital gives me the hunger of all hyena's commingled for, Music, Art, Fashion and culture. What first, attracted my hyena attention about Supersweet was how this Digital Magazine arose, a story is one that stretches the reaches of two continents, from Eastern Asia to Western Europe.

In a basement club in downtown Bangkok was a monthly indie disco by the name of Dudesweet.It was practically the only place in the city where the rock/indie/punk/goth/etc kids could go and dance to the music they liked, but it was still virtually impossible to buy the music, or hear anything about the bands that we loved.Clubs and event planners have tried and failed to create a space where so-called creatives can congregate. This is exactly where Dudesweet has succeeded in building its fanbase,among fashion designers, magazine editors, program directors and other commentators on taste and trends.

Eighteen months later came SUPERSWEET, intended as a magazine to accompany the party, and also something fun to do in the minds of the two disillusioned former art students who started it.Supersweet Digital is based in London and intended to the people here.and around the world.

A Axiom after my own heart, and to make something out of wood and paint it red, Supersweet have a digital online shop which stocks the likes of, Steve J Yoni P, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Atelier 1 and Alex Chloe. Steve J and Yoni P have sold out their Autumn/Winter range in various places already. Supersweet is a que of a rico place to get your hyena hands on some, grunge revival - over-sized checks, long sleeves and plenty of cajones when it comes to sharp and sexy tailoring.

Little Rooms Jewellery Line, a Los Angeles-based accessories line that unlocks the door between past and present. Created by Designer Ester Delug, in the  city of Angels. Little Rooms brings the antique aesthetic and amalgamates a fit into the contemporary wardrobe. What I find most appealing is the Victorian inspiration this line derives with a twist of antique doll houses. Really mixing old fashion vibe with rustic edgy shapes.

Some folk, citizens and mortals have a weakness for Shoes, Handbags, Hats, and mine are Jackets and outerwear. I may go on a shopping spree, every so often to find some sort of accessory tights, tops or make up and sigh, what do I come back with....yes a Jacket! I think I have engulfed my sisters wardrobe to fit the rest of my jackets and coats. 

A Leather Jacket is a ultimate staple for the wardrobe, agree citizens? so how many do I have? Yes 6/7 various leather jackets, all though do take note, not all are in black. Infinitely its that time of the season, to invest in another jacket, and some of the above will be my inspiration to find one specific jacket!, for now.

Handbag cameo in antique style. Cotton applique, embellished with black lace and snowflake white sequins, with vintage lace trim ribbon and parts of a deconstructed necklace made of black beads and grey-blue buttons that accentuate the colours of this bag. The Seller of this cameo antique bag is created by YasminBochi. Yasmin Bochi's collection stood out to me, she has a creative vintage style and I admire the Russian inspiration in some of these pieces.
