Women are actually raised in captivity, forced - whether by nature or nurture - into games of deceit in pursuit of societal values. This fashion shoot distills the tactical concepts of the 36 Stratagems and applies it to a woman’s machinations towards getting what she wants, namely: beauty, figure, taste, and mystique. 

The stratagems are interpreted within the context of the fashion industry, where drama and deceit lie mere inches beneath glitter and glam. Revealing no more and no less than mankind’s darkest need to possess, the 36 Stratagems is sure to become a new classic following the 24 Xiao.

My goodness X (36 Stratagems) marks the spot, and once I took my eyes off these photos, I also came to realise the thinking behind this fashion shoot is quite Delphic and thought provoking.
