Autumn Fall » Disparity « by Christopher Boffoli

17 Oct 2011

"Normally this kind of holiday work would come with bonus pay. But with all of the jobs being shipped off to Brazil, they felt lucky to be getting time-and-a-half. " quips artist Christoper Boffoli
Who not only preciously pairs various foods with miniature figures carrying out everyday activities but prepares a caption that will make people smile. The pumpkins are currently in season and hallow's eve is around the corner.

Fellow Blogger's Photo Project- Put Faces to URLs

9 Feb 2011

Photographs of bloggers, alone, illuminated by computer screen~ sounds kind off elementary for a photo project! Howbeit, Gabriela Herman's photo's, bring a milieu of intimacy, by exhibiting body-language  atmospheric physical workspace's created either permanent or temporary by the blogger. It's fascinating to see from these portraits, solitary actions of bloggers alone in the dark illuminated by the computer screens, acting out their thought process via either solitary body stances or tranquilizing postures.

I can't imagine I look too indifferent to these bloggers above, though I can safely say, I've blogged fully clothed thus far! not in my underwear like Ruben-natal from above ^^, that is if he is wearing anything under there! ~ It has only occurred to me that food bloggers, would have to make frequent trips to the fridge, entailing that exact ingredient.

1929 Michigan Theatre in Detroit

22 Nov 2010

POST APOCALYPTIC CAR PARK
The 1929 Michigan Theater in Detroit now serves as a parking lot, the disonnance between its architecture and current usage symptomatic of the former industrial boom city's inexorable decline.

Photo captured by Sean Hemmerle.
Would make for a cool wedding venue don't you think!? Also provides such a Apocalyptic ambience, hmmm maybe not so great for a wedding venue.

Weekend Wayzgoose

20 Jul 2010

I was fish eyed in goggles gasping for air at times, yes I cant swim!! so off I went to the swimming baths last weekend, in those large chlorinated puddles. Until I got purple around the gills - Can I still Swim?! Nope  Decided to go and watch the movie Inception, and much like my swimming I will need a rerun of watching that movie again, did that spinning top fall?!? What I liked about Inception, is that it gets your mind thinking, it starts up discussions, it's one of those movies that everyone comes out of talking about, just because there's so much to talk about.

Cloud Umbrella
Much like these clouds above, it was a weekend full of dodging raindrops, still is in fact! But I think this cloud helps you put on a Happy Face! Though most umbrellas fly open with the push of a button, the Cloud Umbrella is inflates when you pump the handle. Created by Joon&Jung both, Joonsoo Kim and Jungyou Choi are from South Korea, who met in design academy Eindhoven.  Their backgrounds provide them with an edge to create adorable designs inspired by the everyday

Metalliferous Gwen Lu

9 Jul 2010

METAGROBOLIZE

The muse in this editorial Gwen Lu looks abso-bloody-lutely muy muy funkdafied with a futuristic tribal edge look, Gwen's short blonde crop hair has always been an hairstyle I adore because of its daring androgyny cyberpunk introspection. The metallic creations are metagrobolizing << if that's a word!? yep probably not but then again I have a habit for fabricating words when I see something hypnotizing. Sadly I don't know what magazine this Editorial is from.
