FOOTWEAR COLLECTION FOR PAYLESS

In all reality catwalk lines of the latest savour faire on show is mostly likely not affordable by the vast majority, and I'm certainly included in that category, however I enjoy picking ideas from catwalk shows and rummaging the vintage or high street stores for that similar recreation.

Per contra while they look pricey Christian Siriano's footwear collection below can be brought at Payless soon from the price range of $60. Now isn't that Acapulco Gold!?

New York Fashion Week SS11 • Frank Tell • Raphael Young

Array of de-constructed draped asymmetric web knits, inspired by a wall inset in the Musée du quai Branly.

These wedge shoes were by Raphael Young for the Frank Tell collection, which brings together the pale mint moss and ivy looking knit dresses and leather trousers bringing some serious height. Supposedly the wedges are inspired by Star Trek. Graduate of Starfleet Academy.....

"DR SPIKE" HANDBAG
In terms of design, Ruthie' s primary interest is in structure, with great emphasis placed on the materials and form of the heels and lines of the upper. The resulting styles are somehow both sporty and modern while remaining elegant and sexy.

IMPALPABLE INCLINE
You know when you've reached one neb of the Summer when Wimbledon draws to an end and the lashings of strawberries and cream, washed down with jugs of Pimms on Henman Hill have all been devoured in its thousands. I’m just so glad to see this year’s tournament has bought some sunshine and most of all Rafa Nadal is the Wimbledon champion once again- I couldn't be happier for him! Lets not forget there was also the Shock of Brazil being knocked out of the World Cup and Germany's Wundervolle performance against Argentina and penalty drama for Spain. It's been an eventful weekend to say the least on the sports front. Abit like these high heel converse's ALL STAR by Davide Allieri.

I will be doing my very best to persuade my sister to go half's on this since we both have the same shoes size, although a bargain already as it is, I have still yet to receive the past shoes expense statement from last month. Ouch!

Hope You All had a Good Weekend!?!
England are Out of the World Cup - it was always going to happen sooner or later, so I'm focusing on now supporting Spain in the World Cup, seeing as many of them played for Liverpool! "Viva Espana!"

SCULPTED BONE HEEL
//Jak+Jill
As some of you may know the World Cup kicked off last Friday, and every spare minute I have had has been devoted to watching the games, which in all likely will result in slackness creeping in to updating this blog, forgive me non-sports fans, but this hyena will be wearing football shirts adorning the flags sipping merrily and soaking up the atmosphere, but hey there's always time to gaze at some tasty shoes. Much Love to You all ..........

HANNAH MENZIES FIGURE SKATING SHOES

Hannah Menzies showcased a figure skating inspired collection at the graduate Westminster show, what really makes this collection remember-able were the white skates astutely fixed with a clear perspex wedge material so the models were able to walk in them. Made by a cast surrounding the ice skate blades with clear resin so they would look like they'd been cut out of ice. I would relish to get a pair of these skates on the high street!

Reebok Easytone Trainers Trial

24 May 2010

EASYTONE CURVE

I was able to fleetly grab a friends camera to take a quick snap of my REEBOK EASYTONE'S which was long overdue, in order to share my Reebok Easytone Trial with you folks, that commenced over two months ago. Brief update for those of you who don't know, I received a charming surprise through my inbox, inviting me to trial the new Reebok Easy tone trainers along with receiving a few Reebok goodies. I was thrilled to get the opportunity to evaluate these trainers and to get down to really exploring whether these Reebok Easytone's developed for toning the glutes and legs whilst walking veritably 'Walk the Walk'! excuse the pun.

If you get to know me, It's a thumbs down to the gym, the odd moment I've been determined to tone up and visit the gym, I end up feeling like a guinea pig rotating on the wheels of the gym machines. The only natural way I can tone up my legs is by running and walking, (have I mentioned I dislike running too haha) the only running, I can muster is either if someone is chasing me or by playing sports! This was why receiving the Easytone Trainers was an idealistic way of making the most of the situation and getting my glad-rags on by instantly trailing out on walks near the canal side and hills.

One of the element's I was cautious about was, I have never really been an apostle of trainers, only because I've brought an odd pair or two trainers purely based on the aesthetic factor, I confess! I was attracted and lured by the designer trainer. The only problem was, I suffer from flat feet which put a strain on my muscles and sent waves up to the ligaments, whenever I wore flat trainers. The only trainers I was snug in were boxing trainers. But I don't hardly wear them any more.

When I battened on the Easytones, my concern was allayed by past problems and the EasyT's provided a bouncy spring every time I took a step forward, like you probably do when you're having a good hair day or something. In all honestly not only do I care about the comfortability factor, I needed to know whether they work and tone the glutes and legs, and after wearing them for over the past two months, I can noticeably say, I can feel them working the legs and glutes by the pull and burn sensation experienced. If I'm honest, the Easytones are not some magic potion for the legs, but naturally getting in plenty of walking in this nice weather, is giving me a more greater esteem about my legs and glutes, and I would positively say its not a placebo, seeing as it straightens my posture and propels my walking steps.

If you're further curious about the Easytones, have a meander at the Reetalk Toning community, where I and many fellow bloggers, are trialling these shoes and providing feedback. I will be sure to post some more pics of the shoes once my DSLR is fully functioning.

Dsquared Sandals • Occupational Hazards

DSQUARED SANDAL
Crushing on these Electric Sandals, If looks could kill these could be tried for manslaughter...... Cringe-worthy comment

OCCUPATIONAL HAZZARDS
I'm lacking in the shirts department, I'm fortunate that I work in a casual environment, but means I don't get the opportunity to wear a well tailored shirt and pencil skirt at work, on the occasions when I work from home, it becomes a chore getting out of bed in the morning's, I've always been a night owl, and knowing that I will be working home the night before, tempts me to assault any good horse sense and rationality that I possess, and when the clock mobile phone strikes after the 12 point, I'm dashing straight down to my mini humble office at home hoping no-one has noticed, including my oversized nightwear that I'm still wearing. I spurn the web camera.
Back to the topic on shirts, with the weather hotting up, I've been leafing through sites and found the below checked studded shirt/smock dress from Oasis on Sale. I was going to beat on the add to cart button, but I've misplaced by purse somewhere at home, and how I wished there was a Paypal button, or something. If this studded shirt sells out before I discover my purse c'est la vie, it wasn't meant to be.

//White Linda Farrow Sunglasses //Three Princes spiked razor blade Ring via Etsy.  //ASOS Triple Chain Necklace With Studded Ring Charm ASOS
The shirt, combo'd with some Linda Farrow white sunglasses could look electric, albeit realistically, the Farrow sunglasses would look redonkulous! placed on my point sharp nose, but it doesn't come into my equation anyway with the allowance budget in mind. But sadly all wayfarer shapes sunnies don't brew well with my noggin. But I'll turn this deprivation into channelling buying some wayfarers for my sisters, that way I'll feel less handicapped.

Enjoy you're weekend folks Fridays arrived pleasantly rapid this week
Look Forward to updating you all next week, with the Reebok EasyTone Trainers I've received to Trial and find if they truly tone the glutes and legs.

ETSY ÉCLAIRCISSEMENT OF 2 RING FINGER

I can spend a truck load of time on Etsy regaling on 'you name it' any item, either handmade one of kind paragon, so I reckoned I will post some items on tasty two ring fingers. At the moment I only have a quantity of (two) 2 ring fingers, one I have misplaced somewhere around the house, the other is, hiding in one my bags with leftover wrappers (I do really need to get a ring stand) In the end all I do Is spend a tract of time on Etsy and never take my hyena purse out to bestow some coinage. My understanding on this is, I spend a deluge or what I can spare on statement jackets, bags and shoes and I always neglect any jewellery, as I dispose of them unintentionally.
Over last week I had a spare moment to pick some rings from Etsy to post them on here to share, however for so many reasons I didn't end up posting them sooner, and most of them have now sold out for the time being!  I'll post them up anyhow......

RUPERT SANDERSON
I reckon this sculptural sandal creation for Amneris in Verdi's Aida, showing at the Royal Opera House London, is Rupert's most radical creation from his usually savvy geometric shaped lines minimal Italian looking genesis. Rupert has also created footwear for everyone of the 150 strong cast of the Aida production. Judging by the overall costumes and look of the show, it beholds a lively infusion of inspirational ancient wonders around the world, which Rupert has released in his creations.

Omelle SS10 Shoe Line

24 Apr 2010

PUNCHY THIRSTY GUNMETAL
When I first laid eyes on Omelle's debut S/S09 collection, back in August last year, I was chuffed to see a new fruitful shoe line develop, created by a partnership between Nicole LaFave and Cherise Angelle, and its that time again to harbinger the Omelle S/S 2010 shoe line. The collection grants a distinctive aesthetic, according to LaFave, Omelle’s colour palette is “punchy and thirsty with some hints of gunmetal, bumper and wooden accents. The playful mixture includes colors such as speed yellow, black tire, tin snake, snake tread and vapour. The variety in surfaces and textiles ranges from painted python, tree snake and conductor stripes”
Jaewon, Conductor Stripe

Kendall, Black & White

Illy, Sunset

Kelsey, Blue Mix - Kelsey, Speed Yellow

Kiran, Vapour with yellow band- Isabelle, Vapour
