My sibling, Jou Jou Hyena, has been on a long hiatus as well! So I felt it was, long overdue to pull a few snaps of my muse. A sporty chic style for summer and spring with the green and white hoops of colour, doubled with a pair of knee high socks and a pair of ankle heels. Sportswear that's destined for anywhere except the gym. Simple to dress this up or down as an outfit, for most occasions.

There Came A Pause

There came a pause, a hiatus longer than I expected!..My inevitable tardiness came into the fray. Beginning ish of March turned into End of March. Mostly work, some holiday. In the middle of it all, I kept writing in my head, but none of it made its way to my blog. 

Thank you for all the comments and to the emails I received :) I genuinely really appreciate them, and now having some time away from this blog, I realised It’s just kind of become one of those things, I'm a private person ....then why do I blog? I must be a masochist! right, I am always pushing myself to dragoon this blog to be more personal. And I'm going to be working on it :) 

Starting From Now- I thought I'll share with you a few things since on hiatus concerning this blog, I was kindly invited to participate in a Reebok EasyTone trial, many women bloggers apart from myself have been invited to be apart of their campaign, by receiving EasyTone shoes and reviewing them as a product. Apparently these trainers are supposed to improve the muscle tone in the hamstrings, calves and glutes. It's probably a good incentive to test these out and at least get a good workout in the process. 

Look forward to sharing some new tasty collections, I received via email, and maybe some guest blogging here and there. 

I'm taking in the aroma of fresh slightly wet cut grass, while I type, Spring seems to be in the air, chocolate bunnies around the corner, longer days of sunshine and rooftop bars and maybe just a few more additional new items to the wardrobe. I'm zipped up, to get some funkdafied inspiration from the usual blogging haunts. 

Oh and even with the long hiatus, I have still not got round to watching Alice in Wonderland...

Short Shorty Hiatus COURTE PAUSE

I am off on a self-imposed brief hiatus :) I will return in the beginning ish of March. Note to self I try to use my Canon DSLR camera to take some snaps of slapdash of bits-and-pieces, I know I don't say this often enough, but your contribution emails comments are very mucho appreciated and I thank you for taking your time to write something and to even lurke anonymously, something I do plenty on many other blogs.

I just couldn't make a post today without giving tribute to Lee Alexander McQueen. Any morsel thing related to Fashion Art Design, floods forward to my mind the tragic death of Lee and I'm sure its the same for many others.

Happy New Year to you All.......

I don't know why?? but I always feel slightly sentimental when it is time to say good bye to the year, and especially this Decade, we're saying goodbye to the  "The Noughties"  (a term I'm not really fond of, but does its job!)

C & Boxing Day Aftermatch

The day after the 25th December, I absolutely dread hearing the C {whispers Christmas} word again. Hence the best way to cure that, is the Frenetic Boxing Day sales!! Yesss I retreated myself to my armchair, laptop, debit card, and alert eyes and fingers with the occasional glass of Martini Rosso and Bailey's Coffee. I decided this year not to brave the cold and the neon lighted stores until the January Sales. 

There's more sales out there then all the Turkeys consumed this year, so I must limit myself to some of HYENA favourites....

So far I've ended up buying three pair of shoes, ankle wedge boots and Ankle/Oxfords and Knee High boots and two coats, one Military styled & other Dogtooth patterned , and the best thing is there all free return purchases. Just in case I don't like the look of them!

These Victorian Inspired Boots spoke to me, but I was gently let down , as they were not in my size.... Feel like a Ugly sister in Cinderella!!

My Bibi Cakes, although my grandmother lives a thousand miles away,theres nothing like a phone call from her, its the thing that instantly warms your heart, Her deep light brown green eyes light up and her laughter and smile is just so out of this world adorable.

I could learn so many lessons from Bibi Cakes, such wisdom and poise with a hint of shyness when given a compliment, she will pray to all the angels and saints to make sure you are kept safe and warm and happy forevermore. She calls me her golden duck, although Im a hyena aaah!
