HAIR CABOCHON
// Photographed Ryan Ayash // Styling Nadia Pizzimenti // Muse Irina F.

The tasty headpiece above reminds me, I need to searching for a unique head piece of jewellery to wear to a wedding in June, the search is on! and I think I may start browsing  on Etsy, and  I nearly forgot to mention, I have had some comments and an email wondering about the wall decorations on the photos I have taken. On the photos shown, they are both wall decals I brought from a French online store called Acte Deco, one of the reason I ordered from them is, they can customise wall decals for you and you can request what style design colour you prefer.

Anyway hope you all have a Scintilla of a Sunday! Much Love to you all..........

Tiny Tribute to Alexander McQueen

15 Apr 2010

It's still very sad, to think of Alexander McQueen's tragic demise, but I wanted to share with you all my white and gold Alexander McQueen coat I purchased back in 2004 during my uni days. This is still currently one of my favourite items in my wardrobe today. (Although I still need to wear it more often!) Slap on the wrist time It has this detailing in a gold piping and small eyelets with strings conjoining the top bodice and bottom bodice together, with a showing of scattering pieces of lace strings.

I thought I'll take a few snap shots of my muse Jou Jou Hyena wearing the coat, note it is probably more of a closer fit to myself, due to being slightly bigger than on my sister, and I thought I'll team the coat up with some new white wedges I requested from a friend of mine from Tokyo.

LEE HYORI H-Logic Album
South Korean artist Lee Hyori has revealed new fashion magazine styled photos for her H-Logic Album Jacket, seen with a funkdafied street chic with a comprisal of clowns, so giving you a slight tip off and for those who have a slight Clown Phobia. The movie 'IT' with the evil clown was somewhat a disturbing watch as a kid, but I have met some lovely clowns from a lively circus since then, but I wont lie, even though I have no clown phobia whatsoever, I can fathom there is something that can be quite sinister about clowns.

MAGDA MACHAJSKA
I careened across this portfolio by designer Magda Machajska, who is a Senior year student at Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, Poland, Department of Architecture and Design. Magda has participated in international exchange scholarships twice through the Technical University of Athens and Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, and she believes in design as a way of thinking and medium to bring together many different disciplines of creativity. Magda also has a penchant for art and illustrations and it would seem creating interesting structural shaped lines to her designs.

Styling: Red Mil
Grooming: Hanna Pechon

Talented Photographer Rxandy Capinpin from Manilla Philippines who works with many interesting designers to capturing here, unique shoulder caged accessory items by Designer Dax Bayani who is also based in Manilla and thrives in creating unique structural and symmetrical couture piecesFashion has always been a natural inclination for designer Dax Bayani, with his family running a garment manufacturing and exporting company since he was a child. Dax Bayani says
I am a very conceptual designer. I want my clothes to tell a story and to make sense. I tend to think a lot before producing a certain garment just to make sure it’s unique. I spend a lot of time interpreting my inspiration and editing it by giving or taking a few key elements before producing the final garment.
I look forward to scoping Dax Bayani's future designs,  as he does seem to bring individual creativity to his designs.

NEW AUTUMN WINTER COMPLOT COLLECTION 2010
The Argentinan label Complot, who's new collection conveys to Cater for Vampires, sings a fusion of dark edgy glam punk zeal. Always providing delightful campaign photos, Inspiration mood boards, which gives out an hoopla of merriment and a fun filled flavour to the label of Complot.

I'll dig out the Complot Spring & Summer Collection again to post for a pique of inspiration, seeing as the weather is getting brighter and warmer. Before I end this post I have always had a fascination for the Vampire Genre, ever since I watched the movie Fright Night and movies such as Lost Boys, Interview with the Vampire, Daywatch, From Dusk Till Dawn and Blade.

Even with the whole overwrought of Twilight, I have been habitually watching the T.V drama The Vampire Diaries....and yes just mayybee the two main leads named the Salvatore Brothers may have something to do with this hyena being slightly devoted. Certainly a glorious Eye Candy fix for the Week. :)

Untraditional Fairy-tales

WEARING TOU
The concept of Tou is to find and discover a new view point, the shape is made of ordinary existing terms with abit of change. Your imagination and creativity will be required for wearing 'Tou'. I really found these items below to be charming little creations with multiple functions with design quirks. These creations really get the mind ticking, and I can behold how future designers can emerge these charming designs with high quality materials fused and alloyed with an Avant Garde Twist.

The upcoming VMAN Magazine edition 18, shot by photographer Elle von Unwerth featuring the fun loving Shrek characters from Dreamwork animations. The 4th and final chapter of the Shrek movie will be released May 21st in IMAX 3D and I for one cannot wait to see it, probably one of my ultimate favourite animation film, with a reverse of a traditional fairytale amidst all the mirthful of whimsical characters from Donkey, Puss in Boots, Gingerbread Man, Three Pigs and the rest of the fairytale world.

P.X for those of you who don't know the Styling for this Editorial was done by Nicola Formichetti (Lady Gaga's Stylist)
