2010 World Cup Winner España

12 Jul 2010

I wont lie, I have a slightly sore head from yesterdays WC final, which is not a wise considering I have my sisters graduation to celebrate tomorrow! (very muy proud of her) I was rooting for Spain, largely due to many of their players have played for Liverpool Football Club and are currently playing for us, with the likes of Torres and Pepe Reina. Although I support England, my loyalties have always largely been Club before Country, this was tough seeing as Dirk Kuyt who was on the Netherlands side, also plays for Liverpool as well, and I also did not want to see him on the losing side. The final itself was abit of let down and not a thrilling affair sadly. Que grande España!?!!?! Not so much! Spain had scored only eight goals in seven matches, winning each of their four knock-out stage games by a score of 1-0 and setting a new record for the fewest tallies ever by a winner. I think this fact culminated this World Cup overall, football and goal's wise this World Cup has not lived up to past others and wont be as memorable, however South Africans can be proud of themselves after the country staged a successful World Cup tournament, never before have I seen so many Africans, of all colours, united as a continent watching not just South Africa but the event itself.

My lasting memory of this World Cup will be the Vuvuzela's, the jabulani ball and Paul the psychic Octopus, whom correctly predicted the results of the seven matches that Germany were involved in: five victories against Australia, Ghana, England, Argentina and Uruguay plus defeats to Serbia and Spain, and the final itself.

Countdown now to The World Cup in Brazil where the 2014 event will be staged. Four years seems so long away, makes me wonder what life will bring till then. For now :-) keep your eyes peeled for the GIVEAWAY I will be hosting over the next few days!

Ring Side Armor

MAZINGA ARMOR RING
I feel like a child in a sweet shop or toy shop when I see this armor ring, mainly because this ring has a toy-like quirky demeanour, it would seem of late I really feel compelled towards quirky looking fun items, I was just saying the other day to my besties - "I think I'm having a quarter life crisis" haha my pearls have temporarily gone back to the draw for now! >>>These rings can only be purchased in Asia such as the Rowky Eshop.

T-SHIRT FOR BULLIES
My first thought when seeing these T-Shirts that they're quite cleverly done - with the two gloved fists positioned on each arm, but what I liked most about it was the name given to the T-Shirts which are called "T-Shirt for Bullies". Instead of the T-Shirt providing a brutish hard look, alternatively it's more of a self defence stance, and so it should be! :) after-all any form of boxing, martial arts should always be a codified practise of self defence and self preservation of life...and hmmmm I think I've immersed myself with too much of Jackie Chan & Mr Miyagi style wisdom after watching the new Karate Kid last night!?! Which I didn't have much confidence for since the original Karate Kid is an ultra cult classic but I though the remake was still worth a watch.
I can assume Males would need plenty of self- confidence to wear these T-shirts, but I don't think it should matter. The design of these T-Shirts have been created in the city of Moscow Russia by the name of Banzainer.

* I'm particular looking forward to next week since I will be hosting my First Giveaway! to treat one you blog readers *

More info will be provided next week until then folks have a Enjoyable Weekend & THE World Cup Final this Weekend Good Luck Spain vs Holland...I'm just hoping for a thrilling final and a thrilling end to the World Cup in South Africa.

Much Love to you all ..................

METAGROBOLIZE

The muse in this editorial Gwen Lu looks abso-bloody-lutely muy muy funkdafied with a futuristic tribal edge look, Gwen's short blonde crop hair has always been an hairstyle I adore because of its daring androgyny cyberpunk introspection. The metallic creations are metagrobolizing << if that's a word!? yep probably not but then again I have a habit for fabricating words when I see something hypnotizing. Sadly I don't know what magazine this Editorial is from.

IMPALPABLE INCLINE
You know when you've reached one neb of the Summer when Wimbledon draws to an end and the lashings of strawberries and cream, washed down with jugs of Pimms on Henman Hill have all been devoured in its thousands. I’m just so glad to see this year’s tournament has bought some sunshine and most of all Rafa Nadal is the Wimbledon champion once again- I couldn't be happier for him! Lets not forget there was also the Shock of Brazil being knocked out of the World Cup and Germany's Wundervolle performance against Argentina and penalty drama for Spain. It's been an eventful weekend to say the least on the sports front. Abit like these high heel converse's ALL STAR by Davide Allieri.

Tokyo Walk Way No. 3

TONITROUS TOKYO 4th Dimension
The people of Tokyo as per natural been mining it's taste in Savour Faire Fashion, as always I am enamoured with Asian habiliment. Fuyuri in the first photo wears a funkdafied dress with a plush print and the hue of gold accompanied with gold statement jewellery, captured in the neighbouring Shinjuku Tokyo area. Fashion Icon DJ Mademoiselle Yulia, keeping faithful to her love of Joyrich, KTZ and Jeremey Scott and her fashion brand GIZA. The Zip Chain necklace in the fourth photo, projects the outfit combined with the cut-out top and mesh leggings. Excizzorating 80's New York punk, is there anything more thrilling than donning new wave colours like in the fourth photo!?!

A bottle of Coca-Cola + Mini Mouse not forgetting the spiky shoes with asymmetrical red strip and side spun hat, on the subject of hat's and head wear, the guy below seems to have either created or donned on a lopping blue and red thrilling hair piece attached with a mini bell accompanied with a matching colour braided Alice band and aviators, I have never seen anything of the sort and that's why it mostly puts a smile on my face.

HOME DECANTATE

I've been absorbing myself in quite a lot of Home Interior design of late, OCD like behaviour can kick in when I'm trying to achieve that perfect look and feel indoors, over the past few weeks I've must have spent hours choosing over a wallpaper design. Coincidentally Teo Jasmin was very kind enough to send me images of their latest new collections.

Teo Jasmin is an interior design company which was founded by Angéline Bailly in 2001. They started to specialize in digital printing on wall canvas but later on expanded their range of products with cushions and classic furniture, still using the same digital process on them.

Ever since, Teo Jasmin never stops bestowing its creative juices. New collections are launched twice a year. The superheroes of DC Comics are the stars of the new collection 2010 with Coca Cola and famous Doggy ridder. Previous and still successful collections such as the Beatles, NYC, London and Paris are still around! Sacs à mainscoussin décotableau déco Teo Jasmin.

CHAIN SPIKE PLATFORM HEEL
River Island have really amped up the suasion over the last few years and the above pair of heels can be snapped up for £64.99 from the high street. I will be doing my very best to persuade my sister to go half's on this since we both have the same shoes size, although a bargain already as it is, I have still yet to receive the past shoes expense statement from last month. Ouch!

Hope You All had a Good Weekend!?!
England are Out of the World Cup - it was always going to happen sooner or later, so I'm focusing on now supporting Spain in the World Cup, seeing as many of them played for Liverpool! "Viva Espana!"
