GUO PEI'S Winter 2010 collection

Holey Wedged Heels

China's GUO PEI'S Winter 2010 collection earmarks these platform wedged heels that are full of intricate patterned, textures and gobs of height, the collection showcased during the HK Fashion Extravaganza 2010 show. The most fascinating part of these sky-high heels is the Herculean hole in the middle of the wedge that gives them a fresh look.

Infelicitous What Not

This is quite possible the most slap dash intermixed post, because individually  I had all these random photos in all four corners in my folders on my laptop, which needed boshing together......feels like I lightened the clutter!

Cyber Tribes Bow Ties + Tattoos

BOW BONBONNIéRE

French Designer Baptiste Viry once again presents design prowess, with delightful quirky bow tie necklaces, pomped with part militaristic, part preppy. Viry uses gold and bronze metals against the luxury leathers in shades of brown, black and navy.

Keep your eye on the Baptiste Viry website for more information on when this collection hits the stores.

TATTOO TARANTELLA

Tattoos have never really appealed to me, the main reason as to why?.... is I can once in a while get turned off bored from an item I have purchased, I sit and have a look around me and often feel like practically changing the whole layout and decor constantly, I easily lose interest in something what a few weeks earlier I had liked. I like Change! Contentment is also the issue here and I am slowly learning how to be content.

Back to Tattoos it would be reckless of me, to have one! as I will completely hate it later on and would prefer to change it to another design or altogether would want to remove it. But I have to agree the tattoos above by Amanda Wachob are alluring creating beautiful abstract paint like tattoos, presenting a quite elegantly delicate look moving from cloth to skin as primary canvas. Wachob partners with Daredevil Tattoo in Manhattan's Lower East Side, which has flourished as one of the premier tattoo parlors since New York legalized tattooing in 1997.

GREY GOOSE & WEDGES
One of the few rounds I do online is often visit Fashion photography extraordinaire's blog by Sony Vandevelde! presenting us all the glimpses behind the scenes, and a scoop full of new collections in its natural backstage form, I every so often, don't embargo a same feel of an outfit just via looking over the catwalk photos. The photo's Sonny captures behind the scenes, brings out a more personal aura of an outfit and focuses more on the personality of models whom are often seen smiling backstage, providing energy to the photos and letting the personalities of the models shine through.

Sonny himself is a European-born, Sydney-raised photographer. Fed up with the unimaginative “tunnel vision” of his photography instructors, he dropped out of college and learned his craft his own way. And hasn't he just!

+ WEDGES

A lot of the Swedish labels consistently develop some excellent shoes to kudize their collections each season, especially the likes of Acne and Minimarket. Most of the shoes they produce, like the Acne Atacoma wedge and Minimarket zipper wedge, end up becoming highly sought after on an international scale. I'm sure the shoes above will continue with this trend.

+ GREY GOOSE CHEAP MONDAY
There has always been one fixe I have never got around to doing! and that is colouring my hair white! I have always wanted my hair plantinum blonde white, a medium short choppy white haircut. I have practically changed my hair to every other colour besides white, but I have never got round to changing it white simply because it will likely will not mesh well with my skin colour. I have a caramel skin tone and dark black eyebrows and in the end could end up looking like a crazy old scientist or just simple colour dye done at home, gone complexly wrong......but maybe one of these days when I have a larger collection of hat wear I might take the leap!

I have dyed my hair to gray against black in a bob before, but not as funkdafied as the Cheap Monday collection presented below. showing the many hues of grey hair with the splash of black and whiteOne of the more trends seen outside and inside the shows.

CELEBRITY CRAY CRAY
Is it a cliché that we're sinking into the prostrate of celebrity famed culture? are we drugged into this neon lited celebrity fame engrossed coma, I like anyone else can be fascinated by the lives of the celebrities, curious to know what they wear, how they live, and even to who's dating who, but is it just me who finds the lurking of celebrity gossip into serious news broadcasts disturbing. Are we like the Ancient Romans who made celebrities out of gladiators and like them idolise celebs when they're popular, pry when they're suffering, jeer when they make a mistake and revel when they sometimes look stupid and make judgement on every morsel of there being. Celebrity fame culture has a place its fun in moderation but it can be lethal if its all we consume.

Although I prefer to keep this blog mainly celebrity circus free, as there's plenty of it everywhere else to keep us quenched.  I'm going to briefly muse about a celebrity who's not widely known called Nicola Roberts, who's from a pop girl band in the U.K. Nicola has always faced rough treatment from the media and critics, she has been known as 'The Ugly One' from the group... nice huh!....I have to admit I don't really care for her music, but I've noticed over the past few years she has gotten a taste for some unique vintage styled apparel, which has still been mocked by the tabloids, and I thought you know, why not post about someone who is not widely recognised and not favoured for her dress sense by many.
See what you think..........
Looks very demure lady like inspired by the 1950's -1960's vintage look and has embraced her naturally pale skin and is wearing the sheer knee socks with open shoes, which no doubt we will see many folks wearing.

Tokyo Walk Way No. 2

31 Jan 2010

TONITROUS TOKYO 4th Dimension

The people of Tokyo have really been mining it's taste in Street Fashion, as always I am enamoured with Asian habiliment. Was not enamoured with the Australian Tennis Open Final today, Andy Murray the player who I was rooting for lost, sadly. So my remedy for today, are these looks from the streets of Tokyo. ABAYO. The hint of Orange and Prints

I was subconsciously being drawn to the multi coloured, connected chain link necklace worn by Kim on two different days with a blue and pink ensemble. Along with her denim jacket, lower layer washed print making a constant flow to the pink washed denim/cottom hareem shaped cropped pants. Wearing a unusual blue gray printed gloves.

Hotel Gluttony

28 Jan 2010

In love, as in gluttony, pleasure is a matter of the utmost precision
Drinking and eating in excess is always accused of gluttony, taking me back to Joey from friends unwilling to share food with anyone! But likeable nonetheless...I wouldn't mind being accused of Hotel Gluttony, although if I wore the mask below I would be a glutton for punishment with my recent dismal eyesight , due to probably staring at the computer screen for too long because of work.
Although Lady Gaga had no problem wearing her mask commissioned by H Gluttony itself to wear the captivating mask for in the dark photo shoot for Vogue Hommes JapanHotel Gluttony is an 'elegant erotic powerful and delicate jewellery and art', described by the chief designer of Hotel Gluttony, who also worked at Yoshika Creation Paris a well liked creative jewellery brand in Tokyo.

Here are some of my best loved designs from Hotel Gluttony or go here to more designs from there blog

Interior Exterior Hysteria

The other day I posted about searching the portal for interior design, a gateway for design lovers, and found the designs by
Eunsuk Hur were something that
was looking to push the boundaries of fashion and interior decorating by exploring different materials an methods making them multifunctional and interchangeable modular textile pieces allowing you to create different outfits that you desire.
The collection is called Nomadic Wonderland
Eunsuk Hur used wood, wool felt, and leather. You have a choice of colour, shape and textiles that can be altered as many times as you want.

There was a time when a string of lighting – the electrical product and a pearl of jewellery the elegant piece of accessory – were easily distinguishable: one functional, one fashionable. That was until I saw the Baroque Pearl String Lights, these indoor string of lights add a stylish unique lighting to your home. As soon as they are back in stock, I'm going to buy them flat out like a lizard drinking, from Glow
These Stanton James Armor funkdafied Jewellery strictly made for your exterior
