Sequins & Sou Brette Jewellery

SEQUACIOUS SEQUIN LEAFS
This isnt a peculiar rewind time warp thing, I'm taking a revisit back to a post I wrote on Sou Brette Jewellery, what I forgot to mention was a few weeks ago I jumped the broom and decided to gather some of my hyena pennies and spend it on, one of these tasty Puramis Choker's with the central pyramid. The key word for buying this Choker was 'It's an INVESTMENT' that was what I kept telling myself in order to relieve any doubt.

By mere coincidence a few days later whilst I was riffling though several on-line stores, I came across the Kenya Dress at Monsoon, which had an all over sequin look and beading, and what sealed the deal, was the sequin beading on the back end of the dress. Furthermore I decided to wear it at a family wedding and amalgamate it with an Asian fusion, since Asian weddings are all about sparkly vibrant visage.
And so I've decided to take the plunge and share a photo a lovely friend took of the Sou Brette choker I wore at the occasion, standing with one of my confidants- my sister,
who is very reluctant like myself to share any photo's with others as being very private people that we are and frankly I'm more comfortable behind the camera, because a lense whatever sized pointed in my direction makes me break into gawkiness and it's officially named by my family & friends my 'leather mode'  -hahaha

The longest Tennis Match in History at Wimbledon & a slightly scary match by Rafa Nadal and a furthermore nerve racking football match by England has kept me on tenterhook's this week along with deciding to take Golf Lessons which I candidly decided to take so I can enjoy the open fresh air and greenery whilst occasionally veering the Golf Buggy all over the vicinity.

A phrase that sums up my Golfing calibre - Caddy Do you think my game is improving? Oh yes, Madam You miss the ball much closer than you used to- So it's no Golf for me for this Weekend I think I'll stick to continue watching sport than having a slipshod attempt at playing. Have A Great Weekend All..

Givenchy Resort 2010 • EOS Mix Tape Watch

REDIVIVUS & WHITE
I'm rarely into Resort Collections, but Givenchy's resort 2010 collection have actually some pieces I would easily wear on a resort, maybe not the second image above the beautiful white and red striped floor length dress on the right, provides a chic bohemian vibe, taking me back to an ensemble my mother use to wear when I was a child, it would be something I would love to recreate from the high street, although a near impossible task. On an added note the red and white colours are reminding me of a bowl of Strawberry's and cream essential for watching the Wimbledon tennis tournament which started today in dramatic fashion, for those of you who watch it you'll know why.

SHEER SEE THROUGH FROCK
These see through frocks would be perfect for cruise wear or for the beach, but why is it that I would feel far more naked and bare wearing the above, than I would when just wearing a bikini only?? - I could do with going to the beach! Lounging in the sun in my garden will have to do for now. I have left the next two months free to watch the World Cup and Wimbledon at home, so my bikini will firmly stay in its draw for now. Cant really complain...

EOS MIX TAPE WATCHES
Taking retro to another level, EOS takes the concept of the original mixtape and turns it into a fresh timepiece, On the dial is two movable discs which turn like a real cassette tape. An orange marker is present so you know what time it is. These can be found at EOS NEW York

WHY DID I NOT LOOK LIKE THIS AT SCHOOL?
//ph Michele Malka
It's funny how things change, when I was at high school, there was nothing more embarrassing than wearing girly knee high socks, it was all about scrunching the socks down to the ankles, to provide a more rebel care-free look! There was also no such thing as geek chic back then! Our uniform was in Burgundy and black and oddly enough, I  still at times, get put off wearing Burgundy since I had to wear it for all those years.

Good Luck to all those taking their exams and G.C.S.E's and A'levels, it's never too late for some last minute revision cramming. I was never able to revise unless under pressure and deadline, all nighters and last minute cramming is all I know!

As some of you may know the World Cup kicked off last Friday, and every spare minute I have had has been devoted to watching the games, which in all likely will result in slackness creeping in to updating this blog, forgive me non-sports fans, but this hyena will be wearing football shirts adorning the flags sipping merrily and soaking up the atmosphere, but hey there's always time to gaze at some tasty shoes. Much Love to You all ..........

KICK-OFF ONE HOUR TO GO

Really happy for the South Africans hosting the World Cup this time round, I'm sure they're going to make it a vibrant spectacular tournament, even for the non football fans, the carnival atmosphere is always fun and merry to join in with, it doesn't matter if you're not sure what the term ' Offside' means. Have a Great Weekend everyone....And Congratulations to Maria Doytchinova for the well deserved nomination at the 10th AFA Austria Fashion Awards, for the In Comment Collection.
