G Dragon Hair Attachment

HAIR ACCESSORY STRICTLY NOT ONLY FOR THE HEAD
In sync with the natural vibe of your body, every beat, every tone, every melody, the aforementioned naturally fits that of the muse named G Dragon, photographed below, he's the K-POP veteran band member of BIG BANG, known for inhabiting a free spirit when it comes to style, fashion and rhymes. And it would also seem he's donning a blonde hair braid neck piece! Where could I get my hands on this!?

This could be my first ideal D.I.Y project to undertake, if only I had the time patience and aptitude!.. oh well that was a short lived dream and idea. Moving On this hair piece necklace reminds me of a post I wrote before named Haversack of Accessories, when I was pondering on whether to buy a human hair zip necklace. I can confirm I did buy the hair zip necklace, but I came to conclusion it was more suited for those who didn't have black hair, it was just a hairy black hair overload, I wasn't feeling the look. So I gave it to a blonde haired friend of mine, who was able to fully pull off the look. And so it wasn't a bad idea overall. reassures

HAIR ATTACHMENT PART II- MANDY COON
The NY Fashion week SS 2011 is currently under-way, and what caught my eye from the Mandy Coon presentation was the exaggerated braided helmet hair, providing a Mary Quant mod expression 60's style. I've got to experiment with this one, I'll use my sister as a guinea pig, if she lets me!

PINGO HIATUS OVER
Hiatus Over! Okay so I've been slacking off with updating this blog, I was swamped with work and travel, I wish I could say I had a thrilling hiatus- but NO such thing. The warm months of England or shall I say a warm month went by breakneck speed, and visiting the high street today in the city of Leicester, it was obvious to see the season of autumn clothes are ripe for us to pick and ready to wear off the racks. I'm not sure whether I'm ready for the morning dewy lanes just yet, but hopefully it will be a September to remember. Since my Grandmother will be coming over to stay in England with us for only the second time. I don't have the words or the vocab to describe how precious my grandmother is, her youthful grace and legendary wisdom is just one of life's richest treasure's.
[My Amigo]
I don't think I've ever shared my fondness for animals of all kinds, even though August was a hectic month, what with my sister moving homes, barbecues, birthday's including my own, visits to the national parks and carnivals in between. But recalling back to this, what I most relished, was visiting the near by canals and stable a skips away from where I live and spending time with the horses grazing on the farm. The horse above shown in the first photo, looking as if I'm about to stroke it's eye (I promise no harm was done!) has got to be one of the most approachable charismatic horses I have ever met. Sadly I don't know it's name as of yet, so I just call it my Amigo (friend). Secretly I think this horse is only curious about my hat-attire haha whenever I come to visit. Makes me wonder whether I should take up lessons for horse riding, but I don't think I've ever had good poise and balance and sturdy thigh muscles. I think I'll just stick to updating this blog for now. Yeh I'll be glad to start posting again sharing my quirky eye candy and visiting some of my favourite blogs again.

Absent While OnLine

27 Aug 2010

Has it nearly been a month since my last post !? Uh-Oh I must try harder....I will try harder! Part of the reason I haven't been updating is due to two virus's currently plaguing my laptop and myself, well the laptop mostly, I am much better now having taken a week off from work. August has been a mixed month for myself, I'm hoping I can step off from this roller-coaster before next month comes around SEPTEMBER Yikes, where has the Summer gone??

September 8th seems like a nice round date to start updating again, until then I will be AWOL for a little longer, my apologies and love to you Amigos and Amigas.

MINI HIATUS I WISH THE BELOW

The summers alfalfa of August is drumming its beat calling for a break, its a super busy month for his hyena! I would like to have blogged more frequently but my daily excursions will keep me away over the next two weeks. I will update again on the 28th of August. Finally I should get a haircut over the next few days, lessen my usage of wigs, which for one is not helping my dandruff situation haha. Something you probably didn't need to know. No need to leave a comment I've disabled it for this post. Although may sporadically visit some of your tasty blogs but I wouldn't count on much.

Take care y’all for now! So Toodles and Much Love to You's

BETWEEN, HALF A MILE OF  BLACK WATERLINE

Felt like posting my way in black and white lines today, having seen Numero 115's editorial image of Magdalena Frackowiak by Greg Kadel with the escaped stroke of eye liner, if only my unsteady hand could create a look similar and still be able to pull it off. The black water line brought to mind the Markus Lupfer painted Ribbon t-shirt design, it was £85.00 and was then slashed down to £45.00 on Cocosa, but I was too late to pounce on it! All though note £45.00 is still on the high end of what I would normally pay for a T-Shirt for moi, but I was going to treat myself, instead for now I will buy some sweet treats of chocolate kisses and ice cream wishes!

Moonwatch has been designed to establish a relationship between the moon cycle and a person’s emotional states. It’s a new concept of time based on nature which invites people to reflect upon and gain a closer understanding of their mood and daily life on earth. The emotion lab is a strong collective of designers that share a passion of creating original ideas and developments.

It would probably take getting some use to learning how to tell the time with this moon watch, but it is still very enchanting, although currently it is not for sale and Emption lab are in negotiations to bring into the market, heres to hoping there successful. So maybe just maybe I can see this mini moon on my wrist! - HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND!

Crayon Rings

27 Jul 2010

CRAYON COLOUR JEWELLERY

The inner child in me would still like to pick up some waxy crayons and colour some flowers trees and horses and bees. But it would have never occurred to me that they would come in form of a ring. If unlike this hyena, the voice of your inner child is silent, wouldn't these make a perfect goodie for the young toddlers, if considering they are affirmly able to stick to only doodling on paper.

These creations are designed by Timothy Liles and feels "the Crayon Rings have proven to be a product with true mass appeal. They seem to hit a nostalgic and happy spot for so many different types of people, and that makes me happy."

The product has taken off and is sold in shops, museums, and galleries all over the world such as the Future Perfect in Brooklyn, the Tate Gallery in London, Oye Modern in Australia, The Norweigan Centre for Design and Architecture in Oslo, Handmade in Switzerland, the list goes on.

JET SET SUITCASE STICKERS

I am mucho tempted to buy one of these cheeky suitcase luggage stickers, to brighten the mood of any long delays and queues experienced at the Airport. A good anti-dote to the travel hassles and the travelling anxiety I experience before getting onto the aircraft. No Doubt it draws attention to the luggage making it easily identifiable. Beware of any bootlegging and taking contraband though! :) Can be purchased at CHEEKY.COM

I'm feeling a lazy weekend coming on, I'm supposed to be tidying the garage of some of my old Uni items and old shoes and souvenirs. But I'm so sentimental I cant throw away any of these items which contain so many memories, but I have no where to put them. And so I've decided to put this off for another week or two. Makes me feel less guilty when typing this.

Two Tone Taction

22 Jul 2010

LIPSTICK TWO TONE LIPPITUDE

Love it or Loath it, M.I.A's bold combustive style featured on Spin magazine with a visible two toned lips and matching two toned earrings. Reminding me of the multi-color lip look that Tom Pecheux for M·A·C Cosmetics created for the Emanuel Ungaro show, shown in the images below.

It's not exactly office friendly, but fun nonetheless, Lipstick DO or DONT?!

"DR SPIKE" HANDBAG
In terms of design, Ruthie' s primary interest is in structure, with great emphasis placed on the materials and form of the heels and lines of the upper. The resulting styles are somehow both sporty and modern while remaining elegant and sexy.

Weekend Wayzgoose

I was fish eyed in goggles gasping for air at times, yes I cant swim!! so off I went to the swimming baths last weekend, in those large chlorinated puddles. Until I got purple around the gills - Can I still Swim?! Nope  Decided to go and watch the movie Inception, and much like my swimming I will need a rerun of watching that movie again, did that spinning top fall?!? What I liked about Inception, is that it gets your mind thinking, it starts up discussions, it's one of those movies that everyone comes out of talking about, just because there's so much to talk about.

Cloud Umbrella
Much like these clouds above, it was a weekend full of dodging raindrops, still is in fact! But I think this cloud helps you put on a Happy Face! Though most umbrellas fly open with the push of a button, the Cloud Umbrella is inflates when you pump the handle. Created by Joon&Jung both, Joonsoo Kim and Jungyou Choi are from South Korea, who met in design academy Eindhoven.  Their backgrounds provide them with an edge to create adorable designs inspired by the everyday

Skull + Beads + Bangles

16 Jul 2010

SKULL SENSITIVE
I have always had an over-active imagination (fertile imagination), it probably reflects in my dreams and nightmares. I've come across many tasty items which have a skull attached to it and for some reason I've always associated skulls with the Masonic cult rituals and the darkness, having seen skulls in so many places, I've started to feel desensitised around them. Consequently my sister and I came across a newly opened store which had many tasty leather skull embellished handbags.

thus I decided to seize the opportunity to buy these handbags, my sister brought one and I brought the other so we can swap and share any-time. I do have a weakness for soft leather handbags and we were also fortunate on getting one of the handbags half price due to the staff weren't too sure of the prices...hooray!

I took some snaps of my sister Ju Ju Hyena! and if have a closer look you can probably see the beer garden, which we made plenty of use of for The World Cup with the England flag still left standing.. It's a well known tradition in England, that No One flies and displays their national England flag, many countries are naturally patriotic, but not England, unless when the football World Cup arrives, flags are everywhere to be seen however as soon as we are knocked out, everyone takes them down. Although I have yet to take ours down haha largely due to lethargy.

LES BIJOUX DE SOPHIE
Accessory designer, Sophie Levy, the brand called LES BIJOUX DE SOPHIE, creating feminine and beautiful accessories, creating a skull motif.

Mucho Mucho thank you for stopping by here and leaving your comments. It's always appreciated even though I don't say this often. Arriverdercii Dont forget you can still enter the Giveaway!

2010 World Cup Winner España

12 Jul 2010

I wont lie, I have a slightly sore head from yesterdays WC final, which is not a wise considering I have my sisters graduation to celebrate tomorrow! (very muy proud of her) I was rooting for Spain, largely due to many of their players have played for Liverpool Football Club and are currently playing for us, with the likes of Torres and Pepe Reina. Although I support England, my loyalties have always largely been Club before Country, this was tough seeing as Dirk Kuyt who was on the Netherlands side, also plays for Liverpool as well, and I also did not want to see him on the losing side. The final itself was abit of let down and not a thrilling affair sadly. Que grande España!?!!?! Not so much! Spain had scored only eight goals in seven matches, winning each of their four knock-out stage games by a score of 1-0 and setting a new record for the fewest tallies ever by a winner. I think this fact culminated this World Cup overall, football and goal's wise this World Cup has not lived up to past others and wont be as memorable, however South Africans can be proud of themselves after the country staged a successful World Cup tournament, never before have I seen so many Africans, of all colours, united as a continent watching not just South Africa but the event itself.

My lasting memory of this World Cup will be the Vuvuzela's, the jabulani ball and Paul the psychic Octopus, whom correctly predicted the results of the seven matches that Germany were involved in: five victories against Australia, Ghana, England, Argentina and Uruguay plus defeats to Serbia and Spain, and the final itself.

Countdown now to The World Cup in Brazil where the 2014 event will be staged. Four years seems so long away, makes me wonder what life will bring till then. For now :-) keep your eyes peeled for the GIVEAWAY I will be hosting over the next few days!

LIVERPOOL'S - PEPE REINA LEADING THE CELEBRATIONS

Got to love the fella! Pepe Reina - The IPOD in one hand and the drink in the other.

Ring Side Armor

9 Jul 2010

MAZINGA ARMOR RING
I feel like a child in a sweet shop or toy shop when I see this armor ring, mainly because this ring has a toy-like quirky demeanour, it would seem of late I really feel compelled towards quirky looking fun items, I was just saying the other day to my besties - "I think I'm having a quarter life crisis" haha my pearls have temporarily gone back to the draw for now! >>>These rings can only be purchased in Asia such as the Rowky Eshop.

T-SHIRT FOR BULLIES
My first thought when seeing these T-Shirts that they're quite cleverly done - with the two gloved fists positioned on each arm, but what I liked most about it was the name given to the T-Shirts which are called "T-Shirt for Bullies". Instead of the T-Shirt providing a brutish hard look, alternatively it's more of a self defence stance, and so it should be! :) after-all any form of boxing, martial arts should always be a codified practise of self defence and self preservation of life...and hmmmm I think I've immersed myself with too much of Jackie Chan & Mr Miyagi style wisdom after watching the new Karate Kid last night!?! Which I didn't have much confidence for since the original Karate Kid is an ultra cult classic but I though the remake was still worth a watch.
I can assume Males would need plenty of self- confidence to wear these T-shirts, but I don't think it should matter. The design of these T-Shirts have been created in the city of Moscow Russia by the name of Banzainer.

* I'm particular looking forward to next week since I will be hosting my First Giveaway! to treat one you blog readers *

More info will be provided next week until then folks have a Enjoyable Weekend & THE World Cup Final this Weekend Good Luck Spain vs Holland...I'm just hoping for a thrilling final and a thrilling end to the World Cup in South Africa.

Much Love to you all ..................
